Today, January 1st, could be the best day of 2026. Any hour of 2026, Christ could return and that will be the next best event in a true believer’s time on earth.

The previous best event was the day a believer first received God’s gift of salvation grace, found in Jesus Christ alone, by faith alone.  Receiving and believing in just Jesus, just by faith, no beads to pray with, no priests, no pope, no number of good deeds.

Every religion accept true Christianity demands a person believe in themselves, their human achievements and earning their way into heaven.  God gave Jesus as His Savior to the world. Adding anything to Jesus is a sin.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved by faith, and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, so that no one may boast. Legacy Standard Bible

By taking God’s gift of heaven, the assurance of salvation is a done deal. Believers now live in hope and eagerly wait, for the future hour to be delivered into heaven.

Delivered from this dying temporary earth, from our dying temporary bodies and from the hopeless lies of temporary leaders. Earth is a giant graveyard, a holding cell before going to hell, to every person on the planet, except true Christians who are heaven bound.

Whether believers have died or are still alive when Christ comes back, faithful believers will be given new bodies, and with our spirts, be taken to heaven forever.  Saved from hell and guaranteed eternal life with God, angels and fellow believers.

The past hope of coming Messiah or Savior, who would save people from the penalty of their sins was found in the Old Testament. The Savior Jesus Christ came in the New Testament. He walked among the blind, deaf, lame, diseased and dying. He healed all those who came to Him, Jesus raised people from the grave.

Jesus came to die on the cross for a believer’s sins, past, present and future. He was buried in a grave and was raised to conquer death. His resurrection was witnessed by five hundred people. He changed the course of human events. Because He now lives, believers will live forever with Him.

All people are born with dead sinful spirits rebellious against God. A person’s spirit needs to be reborn. Read the bible, gospel of John, chapter 3, verses 1 through 18.

Jesus said in John 3, verse 3, “… unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Believe, trust and obey, keep the faith.
