It seems like many and most of the people in the world have heard of the Bible, but chose to disregard it. Then there are those who pick some of the truth in the Bible to believe and leave the rest. But no one, not even doubting Thomas, who heard and saw God the Son, do miracles can truly find or have faith, as we see in scripture, unless God gives them true saving faith.
Believe, trust and faith seem to lean on each other going forward. As I recall thirty-seven years ago, I was allowed by God to first believe. Then, my top values came down and my bottom values were raised. God’s gift of trust in His transformation of me became an anchor in my new life. After a few years of hypocrisy, despite my lust for sin, it was through Gods tremendous patience, faith became more dominant and real as the long view has been lived out. Come Lord Jesus.
Staples of God’s biblical truth are keeping me and preserving me day by day, through faith and faith alone, in Christ and Christ alone.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, so that no one may boast.
James 2:19 You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
John 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.
Globally, God continues to save one soul at a time. Sadly, the United States has not only turned its back on God, the nation has stabbed Him repeatedly by legalizing sin after sin. An increase of debauchery is the path America is on. May God draw more souls to Jesus, all to God’s glory.
