Time keeps going straight into “Now.” The more people talk about how crazy things are getting, doesn’t fix things. One of the most important questions that can be asked, is seldom asked.

The set up for the question goes like this. You’re talking with someone and you stop and say, “Let me ask you something.” You get their approval and state the obvious.

“Here we are right now, we are in now, what will you do ………… after school? Or when you graduate, or when summer is over, or after you get married, or when you retire?”

After a few questions the both of you are closer to the big question. “After all your time is gone what will you do when you take your last breath? When you die? What happens then?”

“This life is for a short time; we are here now and then what? “

You prepare for rain, snow, hot days and hard work. There are things to get ready for, like parties or moving into a new job location, or just taking five minutes rest before the next thing to do.

People even get ready for their funeral. They pay for it and pick out a coffin. Then wait to die.

We live, struggle, survive, and keep moving on while we are here now and then what?

How many people do you know who think about being here now and then what?

Thinking about then what, rattles the mind. Thoughts of God and heaven or hell slip by slowly like standing on thin ice. People know and feel they’re in uneasy territory.

Both now and then, are all about Jesus. All people will find out about Jesus, then. Seek Him now and take His love for you and give Him your love.  Know for sure what comes next.

Jesus came to save people now so their life is lived with Him in the assurance that they will be with Him always.

Christ was nailed on the cross and died, paying the penalty for the sins of all who believe in Him. God the Father raised Him up from the grave to show all people His power to also raise those who believe and follow Jesus, God the Son.

After time is gone where will you be? With Him now or without Him forever.
